Cuplock system

Cuplock Standard / Vertical

The load-bearing upright of a cuplock scaffold. Forged top and bottom cups are set every half metre, so ledgers lock in at fixed lifts without loose wedges or couplers — faster to erect, and far quicker to inspect. Manufactured from ISI-marked pipe and finished in Oxford blue enamel.

Cuplock system

Ledger / Horizontal

Ledgers tie the standards together and set the bay width. Each end carries a pressed ledger blade that seats into the cup and locks under the top cup — a single hammer tap makes the joint. Supplied in the bay sizes Indian sites actually set out in.

MS Challi (Walkway Platform)

Challi spans between ledgers to make the working platform. The welded U-section deck takes foot traffic, barrow loads and stacked material without deflecting, and stacks flat for transport between sites.

U Jack (U Head)

A U head sits on top of the standard and carries the primary timber or steel beam. The threaded stem takes out the last few centimetres of level, which is where slab accuracy is won or lost. Available in hollow and solid stems.

Base Jack

Base jacks sit under every standard. The 152 mm plate spreads the point load onto sole boards or slab, and the threaded stem levels the lift on ground that is never as flat as the drawing says it is.

MS Adjustable Prop Jack

A telescopic prop adjusts across its full range on a coarse thread and pin, then fine-adjusts on the nut. Heads are made to order — beam head, U head, angle head, flat head or regular — so the same prop suits slab soffits, beam bottoms and raking support.

Formwork

Shuttering Plate

The panel that actually forms the concrete. Built from 2–3 mm sheet on a stiffening angle frame, in welded or riveted construction, and finished in Oxford blue enamel. We manufacture new plate and also carry sound reconditioned stock, which is where most sites save money.

Cuplock system

Spigot / Joint Pin

A spigot joins standards end to end so a scaffold can be built as high as the design allows. Turned from MS and pinned through, it keeps the two tubes concentric and stops the joint working loose under load.

Steel Planks

Steel planks replace timber boards on the working platform. Punched slots shed water, resist slipping and cut weight; a rolled stiffener down the centre holds the load-bearing capacity, and the boxed side sections resist deforming. Galvanised finish for long outdoor exposure, painted for general site use.

Sheet Coupler / Clamp

Couplers make the tube-and-fitting scaffold. The fixed coupler joins two tubes at 90°; the moveable (swivel) coupler takes any angle, which is what you need for bracing and raking members. Pressed and forged patterns available.
