Scaffolding & shuttering on rent
Take the tonnage you need for as long as the programme needs it, and hand it back when the pour is done. No capital locked up in steel that sits idle between projects.
How hire works
A Guliani Group company · since 1991
We manufacture and trade the full range — cuplock standards and ledgers, base and U jacks, adjustable props, shuttering plate, steel planks, tube and couplers — in new and sound used condition. Buy it, hire it, or sell us the stock sitting idle in your yard.
What we do
Most sites need a mix — buy the items you will use on every project, hire the ones you need for one slab, and clear out what you are finished with. RTL does all three, which means one yard, one delivery note and one person to call.

Take the tonnage you need for as long as the programme needs it, and hand it back when the pour is done. No capital locked up in steel that sits idle between projects.
How hire works
Manufactured to the sizes in our catalogue, from ISI-marked pipe and finished in Oxford enamel — or sound used stock, inspected and repainted, at a fraction of new cost.
What we supply
Project finished? We buy used standards, ledgers, plate, props and couplers by the lot — valued on what it is, not what it was — and we arrange the lifting ourselves.
Get it valuedThe range
Every size in the catalogue, in the weights the crew expects — so a bay goes up the same way on the tenth floor as it did on the first.

The vertical member of the cuplock system, with a top and bottom cup set every half metre.

The horizontal tie that drops into the cup and braces the standards into a bay.

Welded steel walkway sections that give the crew a flat, non-slip working deck.

The adjustable head that cradles the primary beam and fine-tunes slab level.

The adjustable foot that spreads the load and levels the scaffold off uneven ground.

Telescopic props for slab and beam support, with your choice of head.
Why RTL
Scaffolding is not a one-off purchase — it is an asset that gets struck, stacked, trucked and re-erected dozens of times. What matters is whether the cup still takes the blade cleanly after the fortieth cycle, and whether the thread on the jack still turns when it is full of slurry. That is what we build for, and what we inspect for when we take used material in.
On site
Cuplock towers, shuttering runs and access decks on live projects — the same components listed on the products page, set out for the job in front of them.
Where it goes
The same components, set out differently. Tell us the structure and we will tell you the tonnage.
Cuplock decking for slab after slab, with props and U heads taking the beam line.
Heavy shoring towers, staging and formwork for decks, piers and abutments.
Long-span access, edge protection and maintenance scaffolds around plant.
Fleet top-ups in bulk, and a standing buyer for the stock you are retiring.
How it works
Slab area and floors, or a bill of quantities. A drawing helps, a phone call is fine.
Sizes, piece counts and weights — for purchase, for hire, or a mix of both.
Checked against the list, loaded at our yard and sent to the site address.
Extend the hire, add tonnage mid-programme, or hand it back at the end.
Send the bill of quantities, a drawing, or just the slab area and the number of floors — we will come back with sizes, quantities and a price for purchase or for hire.
